Progress on the cross is going very well. The flowers are done and attached to the copper “stems” and I am beginning to apply the leaves. They have been averaging about an hour and a half per leaf but are positioning beautifully (in my humble opinion!) These flowers are temporarily screwed to the cross but need to be soldered in a more permenant way after all the leaves are on and the flower Bouquet is completely filled out. I should have this done next week and will then remove the flowers and copper clad the wood cross. Then come the butterflies. Anyone that wishes to see this in the making, feel free to stop by the studio #127 in the Franklin Arts Center 1001 Kingwood St. Brainerd MN.
